What Is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive treatment that tightens skin and reduces fat on the face and neck. A thin cannula delivers radiofrequency energy under the skin, which melts fat, contracts the tissue and stimulates new collagen for firmer skin over time.
Dr. Boris Mordkovich uses FaceTite to define the jawline, reduce jowls and a double chin, and smooth the lower face and neck.
FaceTite vs. Facelift
A facelift removes excess skin through longer incisions and is still the best choice for heavy sagging. FaceTite treats mild to moderate laxity through tiny incisions, with less downtime and minimal scarring. Compared with non-surgical options like Ultherapy or Morpheus8, FaceTite works deeper and can also remove fat, so one treatment often does more. For loose skin mainly under the chin, a neck lift may also be discussed.
Consultation & Preparation

During your consultation, Dr. Mordkovich examines your face and neck, asks about your goals and explains whether FaceTite, a facelift or a non-surgical treatment will give you the result you want.
Before FaceTite, you may need blood tests and medical clearance from your primary care doctor. You will stop certain medications, supplements and vitamins about a week before, stop smoking, and arrange a ride home.
FaceTite Procedure
FaceTite is performed in our Fort Lee office. Here is how it works:
Anesthesia
The area is numbed with local anesthesia, and oral or IV sedation can be added to keep you relaxed.
Tiny Incisions
Dr. Mordkovich makes a few tiny, discreet entry points in the treatment area.
Radiofrequency Energy

Fat Removal and Tightening

Recovery After FaceTite
Swelling, bruising and mild tenderness are normal and usually settle within a few days to a week. Keeping your head elevated and protecting the area from the sun helps you heal.
Most patients return to light daily activities within a few days and avoid strenuous exercise for a few weeks. Results show early on and keep improving for 3 to 6 months as new collagen forms.
