After your Contour TRL procedure, your skin will likely be red and tender for a few days, and some patients experience mild swelling as well. You will be given an ointment to apply to the skin to assist with the healing process.
It is essential that you keep your skin out of the sun for many days since it will be extremely vulnerable to damage during the recovery process. The duration of your recovery will depend on the depth of your treatment. Lighter treatments require about three to four days of downtime, while deep treatments may need seven to 10 days.
